In 2017, I was given the opportunity to work at Backwoods Christian Camp for the first time as a Summer Worker. I got the message just a day after I came home from Tennessee. 

I got the "okay" from my parents, and had a month to spend with my family and to raise the money I needed. 

 

The crew, minus one.

And I was off again.

I so enjoyed my summer, 

it was a blessing to spend 

eight weeks with these friends. 

From morning devotional every day, 

to working until 6pm on Friday's 

after everyone else was gone, 

my summer was encouraging, 

strengthening, and wonderful.

Fix-It-Felix, Wolverine, Frosty, Patty and Bigfoot. ;)

work with Kayla, Harrison, 
Logan and Chad. :) 

I'm thankful my first year as a summer worker was spent with these people.
